Cevdet is betrayed by his blood brother, Tevfik. Cevdet is a major in Thessaloniki towards the end of the Balkan War. A brave soldier for the motherland, a love lover for his wife Azize; his children Ali Kemal, a compassionate father to Yildiz and Hilal. When Cevdet and Tevfik battle on the front, everything upset with an event. Cevdet is forced to break from his family. Tevfik helps Azize, who had to migrate from Thessaloniki to Izmir.

Cevdet's return as a Greek colonel shakes all family and Tevfik up. The family is disappointed with his treachery except his elder daughter Yildiz. It won't be easy to regain his family for Cevdet.
